Step 1 – buy box 

We gain an in-depth understanding of your buying box by year, make, model, trim, mileage. Once we learn what book valuation and what percentage of book that you use to determine your current buying formula. We work from your Max book value and work backwards to determine your Max bid at the Canadian auctions. We use all auto valuation books, MMR, JD Power, KBB and Black Book.

Example: Auto Dealer states that we need to land our cars to us at 120% of JD Power-Clean Trade less $2,000 for front-end pack and reconditioning. In order to determine your Max Bid, we subtract ALL of the costs to deliver to your doorstep. We can factor for any specific requests into the Max Bid. This is to ensure that we Never overpay for a car, while at the same time have considerations for every specific dealer economic factors.

Step 2 – Pre-buy

We take your requested order on types of vehicles and the number of vehicles that you want for that given week, and we develop a pre-buy list. All vehicle opportunities are filtered through your dealer specific economics, as well as, an in-depth analysis of seller notes, condition, and photos are reviewed. After the analysis and filters have been applied and we have a cleansed list of vehicles, we go to the online auction. We explore the online auctions, 7-Days a week on TradeRev for dealer trades and Open Lane auctions in Canada.

Step 3 – buy

We submit our Max Bids on all selections in your Pre-Buy list. The harvest of bids

We are a car buying system that works in your auction online accounts. We operate as a third-party outsourced buying channel for your car dealership.

How Does it Work?

As part of our onboarding process, we have our Auction Access ID assigned to your online auto auction account. This allows us to work and purchase cars at the OPENLANE Canadian auctions. OPENLANE is comprised of the former Manheim and ADESA Canadian auctions. We also purchase dealer fresh trades on TradeRev Canadian auctions.

We will demonstrate to you Post-Buy reporting that we call our B3 Report. B3 stands for Budget, Bid, Buy. In your weekly B3 Report, you will see what your budget, bid and buy performance was for the week. We will demonstrate to you how your Max Bid was a result of your dealer specific buying formula and requested order for that week. The key is that no matter what the harvest was for that given day, week or month, you never overpaid.

B3 Report demonstrates at a VIN level and portfolio view:

As a result of the B3 Report, we will be able to give you insights into what is going on the marketplace and where to pivot. However, You, as the dealer are placing your order and we are executing according your economics.
